It was my idea to launch "Call-center 051” - the Mayor's Assistance Service to help the residents of Kiev - to provide direct feedback to the residents of Kiev. For 2 years, they received over 2 million calls from residents of the capital with their complaints and suggestions. And it made possible to solve more than 90% of complains promptly. Although most of the issues, basically, had to be resolved at the district level. But I put the “housing and communal” appeals of the residents of Kiev under my personal control and could take the necessary measures.
Each resident of Kiev, having called there, could count on an immediate solution to his problems - whether it was extortion of money from him by public utilities or the need for all kinds of repairs, cleaning of neighborhood area, etc. Even today you can ask any Kiev resident where he called when he had problems. And the answer will be almost the same: “To the mayor’s help call center for the residents of Kiev “15-51”!
And I am glad that many residents of Kiev managed to solve their problems by calling the Call Center, and that it continues its work for the benefit of the capital and its residents!
It was also important that people trusted this service and me in particular - they knew that by contacting "15-51" they could solve a problem, any problem, and most importantly they could do it without bribes, acquaintances, completely free of charge!!!
