REOPENING OF THE KYIV HIPPODROME

I decided to breathe a new life into the Kyiv hippodrome so that it would become again the pride of the city and the country.

The clinical hospital "Kyiv City Heart Center", the only clinic of this kind in Ukraine, started to operate in December 2007.

In 2009, on August 23, on a day before Ukraine's Independence Day, we opened one of the largest flower clocks in Europe and in the world.

3.5 thousand plots for restoration. About 500 teachers participated in the sports education of the Kyiv youth. 202 playgrounds for children and 17 playgrounds for sports have been renovated.

In 2009, we decided to return to the idea of installing in Kyiv the largest Ferris wheel in the CIS countries with a diameter of more than 70 meters.

NURSING HOME “THE BEST HOME"

On December 25, 2008, by the decision of the Kyiv City Council, the communal enterprise "Best Dom" was created.

SOCIAL IMPROVEMENTS: KIEV RESIDENT CARD AND OTHERS

The idea of a social card for Kiev residents was to provide its users with a 10% discount on a product or service.

PERSONAL RECEPTIONS OF CITIZENS NEAR THE CITY HALL

My receptions of citizens near the city hall were know-how for our country and our society. But I started doing this long before I took the high post of the Kyiv mayor.

In March 2009, in accordance with my order, a working group was created to implement the "Municipal Taxi" program in Kyiv.

KYIV CITY TRAIN

One of the main tasks for me as mayor was to let residents of Kyiv travel by transport of the European level. Thus, the idea of building a Kyiv city electric train arose.

PROHIBITION OF CAR PARKING IN GREEN AREAS

To solve the problem of illegal parking in the green areas of Kyiv, the program “Preservation of green areas of the city of Kyiv. Photo evidence of violators” was developed.

Tow trucks are not a personal whim of the mayor of Kyiv, but one of the ways to release the streets of the capital city from congestion. I firmly decided to return the tow trucks to the streets of the capital.
