DRAFT LAW ON INTRODUCTION OF ADDITIONS TO THE LAW OF UKRAINE “ON PERSONAL INCOME TAX”

This Draft Law is designed to align the provisions on entry into force of clause 4.2.12 and clauses 9.2.1 - 9.2.2 of the Law regulating the procedure of taxation of income of citizens in the form of interest on a bank deposit, deposit in the non-bank financial institutions, etc.

DRAFT LAW ON INTRODUCTION OF AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS TO THE LAW OF UKRAINE “ON BANKS AND BANKING”

This Draft Law is designed to introduce amendments to the term “major shareholding”; cancel the permission of the NBU for the major shareholding; not to provide the Bank customers with information of persons having major shareholding in the bank; introduce additional restrictions on the provision of commercially confidential information by the bank.

DRAFT LAW ON INTRODUCTION OF AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS TO CERTAIN LEGISLATIVE ACTS

This Draft Law, in particular, changes the procedure for applying the enforcement actions to banks or other entities that may be subject to verification of the NBU, for violation of banking legislation or conducting risky transactions that threaten the interests of depositors or other creditors of the bank.

This Draft Law defines a new procedure for assessment of a regular collection to the Deposit Insurance Fund and its payment by the banks.

DRAFT LAW ON INTRODUCTION OF AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLE 3 LAW OF UKRAINE “ON MORTGAGE LENDING, TRANSACTIONS WITH CONSOLIDATED MORTGAGE DEBT AND MORTGAGE CERTIFICATES”

This Draft Law is designed to remove the restriction set out in Part 1 of Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine “On the introduction of amendments to Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine “On mortgage lending, transactions with consolidated mortgage debt and mortgage certificates”, according to which the maximum amount of a mortgage credit can not exceed 70% of the appraised value of the mortgaged property.

DRAFT LAW ON INTRODUCTION OF ADDITIONS TO THE LAW OF UKRAINE “ON BANKS AND BANKING”

This Draft Law is designed to regulate some aspects of bank auditing through introduction of additions to Article 71 of the Law of Ukraine “On Banks and Banking”. Provision is made for the introduction of a clear timeline of banks audits, the requirements concerning incompatibility of banks audits carried out by the National Bank with the audits of other regulatory bodies.
